The Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County is proud to partner with the Bucktoe Creek Preserve, a 297-acre privately-owned natural area located in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. The preserve is managed to enhance biodiversity and promote sound ecological stewardship through forest, meadow, and wetland restoration. Bucktoe Creek Preserve's primary goals are to provide a stable location for long-term environmental monitoring and ecological research, a refuge for threatened flora and fauna, and a site for educating naturalist at all levels of expertise.
The Bucktoe Creek Preserve is only open to the public through scheduled programs and events, making your time spent there that much more special and unique. Please contact us if you are interested in scheduling a private tour of the preserve. We host programs for Boy and Girl Scout Troops to fulfill badge requirements, and this is also one of the sites for the Pennsylvania Master Naturalist program.
