Bluegrass Scenic Railroad and Museum

Welcome to the Bluegrass Scenic Railroad and Museum. We are an all volunteer 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and display of the history of railroading in Central Kentucky

The Bluegrass Railroad Museum offers visitors a chance to learn more about rail travel in Kentucky. When you arrive, you will see several pieces of rolling stock and other items of historical interest in our "yard." Come inside the station and tour the museum. Many of our displays have been donated by members and friends of BGRM. Enjoy the "N" scale model train layout in our lobby. Purchase train themed items in our gift shop. And on weekends (May thru Oct. & Dec.), climb aboard one of our diesel powered excursions for a relaxing trip through horse country in Versailles, KY. The everchanging countryside makes it a scenic tour year round. Would you like to bring your school group, company or civic organization? Call us for information about a private tour and excursion. We also offer packages for birthdays, weddings and family reunions.
