Mission

Birdhouse Farmers Market is committed to helping local farmers and food providers connect directly to their local customers. Equally, we are dedicated to providing access to fresh, locally grown and/or produced foods to Richmond families, to educate them about nutrition, and to foster a sense of community among people from diverse backgrounds

New Online Winter Market!

Order Thursday - Sunday for Pickup Tuesdays 4-6pm 

Beginning in December 2020, Birdhouse Farmers Market will operate an online only winter farmers market. Birdhouse Winter Market will provide our customers access to local foods, including fresh fruits and vegetables, all year long. (No market on December 29, 2020)

Here’s how it works:

1. Birdhouse Winter Market is online only

2. Sign up for an online account: https://birdhousefarmersmarket.luluslocalfood.com/ (There is no fee to sign up!)

3. Shop online Thursday 6am - Monday 3am.

4. A $5 fee will be applied when you check out, but ONLY one time each week you order. You can add to your order as often as you like.  This fee helps to cover the cost of aggregating and distributing orders. 

5. Walk, drive or bike to the market (1507 Grayland Ave) between 4pm -6pm Tuesdays. We’ll put your order in your vehicle! 

6. Repeat steps 3 & 5 as often as you like.
