Bay County's dog park is located on the Bay County Fairgrounds, Bay City! It is the only public place in Bay County where dogs can legally be off-leash.
This park was made possible through a $15,000 donation from the Humane Society of Bay County, and efforts of Bay County officials. It provides barrier-free recreation facilities for dog owners, is connected to the Bay County Rail Trail, and provides a playground for people to stop and play with their dogs.
Features of the Dog Park include:
- Large, fenced-in area for play
- Separate, fenced area for smaller dogs
- Jumps
- Tunnels
- Weave Poles
- Teeter-totter
- Accessible drinking fountain for owners and their pets
With the exception of the teeter-totter, all equipment is constructed to United States Dog Agility Association (USDAA) standards.
When using our Dog Park please remember to clean up after messes, and be courteous to other dog owners by using a leash when not within the confines of the fence and keeping your dog under control.
