Barrister Brewing Company

Barrister Brewing Co believes in the value of community and connection.  We strive every day to do well by doing good for our employees, our neighbors, and our community. 

Everything on Barrister’s menu is SCRATCH MADE from ingredients sourced as closely to our brewery as is humanly possible.  From FRESH-BAKED rolls, pretzels, and naan to fresh-smoked pork, beef, chicken, and sausage, everything is created right here in WESTOWN OWOSSO!  None of our food items are made by others only to be thawed and reheated.

Barrister is also committed to using only the freshest, most local ingredients in its beer, ciders, and seltzers. Michigan grains, hops, fruits, and sugars are used to craft the finest beverages we can.

We work to repurpose food waste when possible. Most of our spent grain has a new life after brew day when the folks from 7H Farm in Montrose use it as a main component in feed for their growing ostrich flock. Our fry oil gets a second act as biodiesel thanks to the folks at Thumb Bioenergy. 

Barrister is committed to offering our guests food and drink made from ingredients produced by providers in our greater neighborhood.
