Bakers Creek Park is designed as an active community park. This 40-acre park is open daily, though hours vary from season to season. Â Bakes Creek Park has picnic shelters, a large playground, a mini-golf course, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, a half basketball court, a lighted softball field, sports equipment available for rent, greenway access, and restrooms and concessions. Â
Volleyball Courts
The lower court behind shelter 2 is open to the public at all times at no charge. The upper court between shelters 1 & 2 is for use by people renting the picnic shelter adjacent to it.
Tennis Courts
Four lighted tennis courts are available for public use. There is no charge for use during daylight hours, $1.00 per person for each court for advanced reservations and/or for lights. Tennis equipment is available for a small charge.
Miniature Golf Course
$1 per person per game. Children under 5 are free.The miniature golf course is open only when the concession stand is open, generally during the following hours: Â Spring, Summer and Fall (Mid-March - Late October) Monday - Friday: 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Â These hours correspond to when the ball field are in peak use. The Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to close the concessions and the miniature golf course without notice. Also, please be aware that during times of inclement weather the concessions will be closed and miniature golf will not be available.
Equipment Rental
Equipment may be rented for $1.00 per hour at the concession stand. A valid photo ID is required.
Restrooms & Concessions
Restrooms are open during park hours. Concessions are cash only and are open in the evenings and on weekends during the spring, summer and fall (Mid-March - Late October), generally during these hours: Â Monday - Friday: 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Â Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Â Sundays: 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. These hours correspond to when the shelters are in peak use. The Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to close the restrooms without notice and during inclement weather.Â
