About Us

Auburn Old Town Gallery in Auburn, California is an artists' cooperative. Established in 1995, the Gallery features the works of 60 local artists who explore a wide range of media. Visitors to the Gallery can buy original artwork directly from the artists. The Gallery is located at 218 Washington Street in the heart of historic Old Town Auburn, in the old livery stable building, next to Bootlegger's restaurant. Click here for a map and directions. The city of Auburn, in the foothills of the Sierra mountains, was founded during the Gold Rush of 1849. Now you can find new treasures in Auburn Old Town Gallery. Come and visit our wonderful Gallery and wander around Old Town Auburn for a taste of history.

Works include pastel, oil, and watercolor paintings, etchings, pen and ink drawings, pottery, ceramic sculpture, jewelry, woodcarvings, photography, blown and fused glass, painted silk, hand-woven scarves and shawls and decorated gourds.
