About Us:

The Arlington Museum of Art (AMA) seeks to provide access to art for the cultural enrichment and economic development of our community and serve to encourage and support local artists through our programs and gallery rental space.  The AMA is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization administered by a board of directors and staffed mostly by volunteers.

We are focused on bringing outstanding exhibitions to our Main and Mezzanine level galleries, while providing creative support and opportunities to local artists with shows that incorporate a variety of mediums, styles, genres and subject matter. We also present accompanying educational and related programming in order to increase public awareness, support and interest and establish our community as a cultural hub in North Texas.

The Arlington Museum of Art:

 - is non-collecting museum featuring high quality traveling exhibitions and special curated shows

 - is a community art center providing creative support and display opportunities for aspiring local artists

 - offers educational and instructional programs for adults and children built upon practical learning experiences in art

 - supports the art education programs of local public schools and universities

 - provides rental facilities for special events
