Arctic Coliseum

The Arctic Coliseum is an 85,000 square foot, 2 ice surface facilities that rivals any in Michigan. It has been serving the Chelsea community since 2000. In addition to the two arenas the Coliseum houses the Arctic Breakaway Restaurant and Sports Bar, with windows overlooking both ice surfaces and two banquet rooms perfect for team dinners or family gatherings. We also house the Arctic Fitness Center, the best value in fitness around, with daily or yearly memberships available. Other features are an off-ice training facility, concessions and birthday party/event rooms. Hockey Deals Pro Shop is located in our lobby as well, to meet all of your hockey and skating needs, including skate sharpening and sizing.

The arena has public skating events such as Open Skating, Drop in Hockey, Sticks and Pucks, Open Figure Skating, and DJ Nights. Programs that are offered are Learn to Skate and Learn to Play Hockey for all ages, children and adults, adult hockey for all playing skill levels. We are home to the Chelsea Hockey Association which has boys & girls youth hockey teams & leagues, the Coliseum Figure Skating Club, and the Coliseum Comets Synchronized Skating Team.
