Anderson Island is located in South Puget Sound between Tacoma and Olympia, and is about 50 miles south of Seattle. It is served by a public ferry and 20-minute ferry ride from Steilacoom, Washington and is visible from Interstate 5 and the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge.
