Melanie is a self taught glass & clay artist who creates functional, decorative and whimsical items. Her Art Gallery and working fused glass Studio is on Crystal Rivers newly redeveloped 3rd Street Water District. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama she now works out of her garden studio located in Crystal River, Florida. All of her art is designed and created in this wonderful Old Florida Atmosphere surrounded by nature and water. This environment plus her travels to Africa, Europe, Hawaii, The Caribbean, West Indies and other exotic locals help produce the creativity that makes her work unique.
