Alter Ego Carnival

Join Samaritan Center for Counseling and Wellness for the most spectacular party of the year! The Alter Ego Carnival is a variety show style event where contestants highlight their unique personalities and talents while challenging the stigma around mental illness and competing to raise the most funds to ensure all of our neighbors can access the mental health care they need.

For the next two months, our fearless contestants will compete in a peer-to-peer campaign to raise the most funds and vie for the title of Alter Ego Champion. Through their campaigns, contestants also have an opportunity to talk about mental health issues with friends, family, co-workers, and community members; break the stigma surrounding mental illness; and share information and resources that help people receive necessary services.
