Step back in time and visit Adsmore, a living house museum. Leave the present behind viewerand enter into an era of top hats and fans, graphophones, lavender scented sheets, elegant china and crystal, and button shoes. Adsmore, meticulously restored, reflects the lifestyle of the prominent Smith-Garrett family at the close of the "Golden Age."

Tours center on events which took place in the lives of John Parker Smith and Nancy Bond Kevil Smith and their five children: Mayme, Kate, Shell, James Urey (Did) and Selina. Learn about Mayme and Robert Garrett, parents of Katherine. Robert was a National Bank Examiner and later became Director of Insolvent Banks under Andrew Mellon.

Selina Smith married John Osborne, who had served as third governor of Wyoming. He was certainly the most colorful of the men connected with Adsmore. He was a doctor and surgeon for the Union Pacific Railroad, mayor of Rawlins, and one of the largest sheep ranchers in Wyoming. He was also the First Assistant Secretary of State during the Wilson Administration and a chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
