After a rewarding 20 year career working in and partnering a prominent American fine art gallery, Ann Marenakos, Adelaide Fine Art's Director, began her formal education in art appraising, completing the RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) Appraisal Studies Program with the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). She opened a private fine art and antiques appraisal practice, operating on an appointment basis and continues to serve her clients as an art consultant. With over 25 years of experience in buying, selling and collecting fine art, Adelaide Fine Art operates with a broad knowledge base of the many international and national markets and market layers in the field: retail galleries, auctions, specialized sales and exhibitions, private sales, and secondary markets. Clients can rely upon Adelaide Fine Art to provide expert art services: fine art appraisals, art conservation, auction representation and market research, art collection planning, and art brokerage services. Built on a personal passion for art, Marenakos's professional fine art appraisal and art services practice is customer focused, with a keen awareness of her clients' deep connection with their artwork.
