5 Lakes Brewing Company

The owners of 5 Lakes Brewing Co. are Doug & Cindy Lameyer & Randy & Lisa Blain. They have been friends for over 35 years and their families grew up together. The idea of starting a brewery together started one evening while Lisa & Cindy shared a bottle of wine! Lisa told Cindy about her dream to open a brewery because her son in law & daughter we thinking of moving to Florida to be the head Brewer for a friend who has a distillery there. Randy & Lisa were not fond of them moving so far away. So after many months of research, prayers, planning & meetings they made this adventure a reality!

​They started demo on the space they chose for the Brewery in April 2016. They felt that Dorr, Mi was a fantastic location between Gun Lake Casino and Tanger Outlet Mall. They wanted a place where people could come & enjoy great food, wine, spirits, and of course Amazing BEER! Dorr is a community that really supports their local businesses!

​The doors officially opened on December 12, 2016, after many months of remodeling and getting all the licensing finalized. The team put a lot of work in to make this possible. They couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. They love their 5 Lakes Team and they strive to make it a great place to work. They are planning to serve Dorr for many more years to come!
