Virtual Tours of Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

AARP Pennsylvania and Phipps conservatory are collaborating on a series of seven virtual events throughout the year including virtual tours of the conservatory’s popular seasonal displays as well as garden-inspired educational classes. All events are free to attend and you do not have to be an AARP member.

Take a virtual guided tour through Phipps Conservatory’s Fall Flower Show! This year's show celebrates the prominence of the chrysanthemum in Japanese culture through vibrant autumnal displays. Mums in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and colors will be presented alongside evocative props including jewel-toned fans, a moon gate, a pagoda, foot bridges and a celebratory ryuu, or dragon, whose brightly colored body floats from end to end of the glasshouse’s iconic Serpentine Room. The whimsy and enchantment return to Pittsburgh’s premiere holiday experience with your virtual guided tour of Phipps Holiday Magic.
