Statewide Telephone Town Hall Educates on Fraud Prevention

AARP Louisiana recently hosted a statewide Telephone Town Hall featuring Carmen Million, CEO of the Better Business Bureau of South Central Louisiana. Moderated by AARP Louisiana’s advocacy director, the event offered valuable insights and practical advice to help Louisianans recognize, avoid, and combat fraud.

During the interactive session, Carmen shared tips, tools, and resources to empower participants in protecting themselves from scams. Attendees also had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers live.
