Play Ball! AARP Day with the Mariners Set for Aug. 30

After a hiatus triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, AARP Washington’s Day with the Seattle Mariners is back.

The gathering will take place Wednesday, Aug. 30, when the Mariners face the Oakland A’s at scenic T-Mobile Park (1250 First Ave. S. in Seattle). Game time is 1:10 p.m.

AARP members and others can purchase discounted club-level seats for $49 each (up to 16 tickets per purchaser). The ticket price includes a hot dog, chips, popcorn, salad, dessert, coffee and tea.

AARP Washington will have an information table at the ballpark with resources for caregivers — all part of AARP’s efforts to focus on those who care for loved ones. During the game, special announcements will recognize the work of caregivers.
