OPEN HOUSE-Volunteer Opportunities with AARP Vermont Tax-Aide

Posted on 10/07/24 by Laura McDonough

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is a program that trains and supports volunteers, providing free tax-filing help to older Vermonters. Many older taxpayers with low to moderate incomes miss out on credits and deductions they've earned. Tax-Aide offers free tax-filing help to those who need it most, with sessions in senior centers, libraries, and assisted living facilities.
You don't have to be a tax pro, or even a member of AARP, to volunteer with us — there are many ways to get involved.

If you are interested in volunteering with the program and would like more information, our Open House is scheduled for Tuesday, October 29 at 3:00 PM at the AARP Vermont office at 199 Main St Suite 225, Burlington, VT 05401.
