Older voters decide elections

One-third of North Dakotans are 50 or older. In the United States as a whole, that number is a 119 million, and this mighty group is the voting majority in every election. In the 2020 North Dakota election more than 53% of voters were over age 50, and in the 2022 North Dakota election that number was even higher at 61%.

AARP is making sure that candidates understand who these voters are and, more importantly, understand their concerns. Read on for a breakdown of older voters om 2022.
