New AARP Chatbot ‘Paula’ Makes Voter Info Simple and Accessible
As voters prepare for the upcoming general election on Tuesday, Nov. 5, AARP Michigan is excited to introduce “Paula,” a new digital tool designed to answer questions about voting in Michigan. This avatar chatbot engages with visitors in nearly any language, providing clear, voice-to-voice responses to questions about voting procedures, who’s on the ballot and more.
"Paula represents our commitment to making voting information accessible to everyone," said Paula D. Cunningham, AARP Michigan State Director. "With this new tool, Michigan residents can get the answers they need, whether they speak English, Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin or one of the many languages spoken in our diverse state."
Paula uses advanced technology to provide real-time responses, giving voters easy access to information throughout the election process. Whether it’s finding early voting locations, polling places or details on absentee ballots, the chatbot delivers straightforward, up-to-date answers with just a few clicks, ensuring Michigan voters have the information they need when they need it.
"We encourage everyone to try it out and share it with friends and family," added Lorri Rishar Jandron, AARP Michigan State President. "Paula is here to help, making it easier than ever to stay informed about the voting process."
