Lonely? Request a Call From the AARP Friendly Voice Program

Posted on 04/30/22

The pandemic has led to isolation and loneliness for many people. AARP District of Columbia wants people to know there is a way to help and be helped. AARP’s Friendly Voice program has trained, caring volunteers who are ready to chat, listen or just say hello.

English speakers can request a call by dialing AARP at 888-281-0145 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.; Spanish speakers should call 888-497-4108. Just leave your information and an AARP volunteer will call back.
