Let’s Build a Better Bus Stop, St. Louis!
Know of a bus stop in the City of St. Louis that’s in need of an overhaul?
Are you interested in seeing this bus stop transformed into an active, engaging corridor with vibrant colors, seating, shading, green space and more?
AARP in St. Louis and Citizens for Modern Transit need your help identifying the best site to build a better bus stop as part of its next “Transit Stop Transformation Project.”
Nominations are open until November 15, with a selection to be made in January 2024. Nomination form may be accessed here.
Who can submit a nomination? Nominations can come from individuals or organizations.
What do you include when nominating a stop? Include details on the location of the stop and why the nominated stop should be upgraded, as well as any partners who helped with the renovation ideas. Pictures are always helpful!
How do we know if our stop has been chosen? In January 2024 the selected bus stop will be announced and the nominees contacted.
