A Conversation with Patti Davis - Author of Floating in the Deep End: Wednesday, June 15 at 12 pm
Patti Davis, daughter of former President Ronald Reagan, is the author of several books, including her most recent work, Floating in the Deep End: How Caregivers Can See Beyond Alzheimer’s. AARP CA Listening OutLoud - A Celebration of LGBTQ Voices: Wednesday, June 15 at 2 pm
Come together to connect, share, listen to and celebrate stories from StoryCorps OutLoud: an initiative dedicated to documenting, preserving, and amplifying stories from the LGBTQ community. We'll feature voices of hope, resilience and love from California and across the country that provide community connection and reflection at a time when we need it more than ever. North San Diego County NAACP Juneteenth Event—Saturday, June 18th from 10 am - 5 pm
Location: Downtown Oceanside between North Ditmar St and Pier View Way
Juneteenth marks the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. This year, North San Diego County NAACP will be commemorating the holiday through performances, educational outreach, health screening and more in an all-day event. Find more information HERE.*
