Posted on 05/01/25 by Laura McDonough

AARP members and guests are invited to join us for free paper shredding events at select locations around Vermont. Connect with AARP Vermont to help combat fraud and safeguard yourself from identity theft by shredding sensitive personal documents after tax season.

Documents will be shredded on-site at no cost. There is a limit of 3 boxes or bags per person. This event is for paper only. Metal, plastic, magazines, cardboard, and other materials can damage the shredders and will not be accepted. Please remove metal binder clips beforehand.

Shredding trucks will operate during the scheduled time or until they reach full capacity. Shred site addresses will be provided after you complete your registration.
