Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom stars Viola Davis and Chadwick Boseman, both of whom were nominated for Academy Awards for their performances. The film follows Ma Rainey, “Mother of the Blues”, in her struggle to control her own music in a dramatization of a recording session in Chicago in the 1920s.

This film is rated R for adult situations & themes such as language/profanity, sexuality, brief violence.

The movie screening is FREE, but you must register to attend. Seating is first come, first served. AARP membership is not required.
