Get a virtual tour of Ballona Wetlands. Discover its diverse habitats and accessibility features, including paths and sensory experiences, and learn about the animals and insects that live in the wetlands. Grab your walking shoes and join us for a docent-led tour of the Ballona Discovery Park. Learn about the wetlands, native flora and local ecosystem. You’ll have an option to extend your adventure to the marsh via the Jefferson Trail! Register HERE.
About the Ballona Wetlands
The Ballona Wetlands is comprised of brackish and freshwater marshes, freshwater wetlands, seasonally flooded freshwater wetlands, salt pans, coastal sage scrub and sand dunes.
