Chris McCoy, Associate State Director - Advocacy and Outreach

With nearly two decades of experience in political, public affairs, and communications roles, Christopher McCoy is a leader who can drive strategic initiatives and deliver impactful results.

As a Principal/Partner at Sisu Public Affairs, Chris worked with clients from various sectors and industries to create and execute tailored campaigns that advance their goals and interests.

Prior to Sisu, he spent over seven years with Americans for Prosperity, including as the North Carolina State Director, and founded an independent consulting company called Black Wolf Strategies.

Chris brings a unique skill set to AARP Arkansas that will benefit him in his role as Associate State Director of Advocacy and Outreach. These include event production/management, networking, fundraising, and strategic communications, which he uses to engage and mobilize diverse audiences, build and maintain relationships, and influence public opinion and policy.

Chris obtained his degree from Boston University, is working towards a Master of Science in Marketing at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and has a certification in Political Leadership. He and his wife, Danielle, are the proud parents of three active teens. As new residents to Arkansas, the family looks forward to exploring The Natural State.
