AARP Mississippi is looking for volunteers for a number of roles. Volunteer opportunities include advocacy, community outreach, communications and virtual opportunities.

Hard at work advocating for those 50 and older on everything from affordable prescription drugs to caregiver support to safe driving, the AARP Mississippi state office relies on volunteers to help accomplish its goals.

AARP Mississippi is actively recruiting volunteers to work with local residents, community leaders and organizations to host events, support its projects and share association resources.

Volunteers can help with advocacy and community events, lead driver-safety classes and prepare taxes through AARP’s Tax-Aide program.

The state office is planning in-person, virtual and hybrid events in the coming months and needs volunteers from across the state.
