AARP Wyoming Offers Gentle Yoga Courses

Whether you prefer to practice yoga in-person or virtually, AARP Wyoming and Blossom Yoga are offering weekly yoga sessions this year.

AARP Wyoming will host in-person Gentle Yoga classes at Blossom Yoga, located at 810A, West 21st street in Cheyenne on Tuesdays from 10:30-11:30 a.m. The classes are free, but registration is required and can be done by clicking here. If you have any trouble just show up, and we can register you at the studio.

AARP Wyoming and Blossom offer Gentle Yoga Thursdays virtually from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Those classes are also free of charge and require registration by clicking here.

Leading the classes will be Blossom Yoga Studio Owner and Master Instructor, Jill Lovato, who offers personalized posture variations and guidance with yoga props (or household items), helping you find a practice that feels right for your body, and everybody.

There is no preparation needed—bring yourself exactly as you are! Each session concludes with an uplifting reading to carry a sense of ease through your day. This weekly session focuses on:

  • Accessible Hatha yoga postures for everyone
  • Mindful breathwork
  • Grounding mindfulness practices
  • Creating a peaceful space for all experience levels to recharge and connect
