AARP Fraud Alert:

AARP Pennsylvania joins Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin in alerting residents of a fake Lehigh County Survey.

Entitled “Lehigh County Opinion Survey”, county residents may be receiving the survey in the mail.  The mailer, promises a $2-gift card to anyone who goes to a designated website to complete a “confidential, nonpartisan survey of people in Lehigh County.”   The mailing is not from Lehigh County, and detectives with the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the document's source.

AARP Pennsylvania recommends those who receive the mailer not participate in responding to the survey and notify law enforcement if you believe you have been scammed.  We also encourage Lehigh Valley residents to call the AARP Fraud Watch Network Helpline at 1-877-908-3360 if you or someone you know has been the victim of a scam or fraud.

Be a fraud fighter!  If you can spot a scam, you can stop a scam.
