A Beautiful Evening for a Sunset Walk at Eagle Marsh
It was a perfect October evening for our AARP Fort Wayne and Little River Wetlands Project sunset fall walk at Eagle Marsh!
On the 15th of October, a vibrant group of 26 participants enjoyed the crisp autumn air, colorful foliage, and peaceful sounds of nature.
Guided by Aly Munger, Education Coordinator for the Little River Wetlands Project, we learned about the plants, animals, and habitats that make Eagle Marsh such a special place. Along the trail, deer, woodpeckers, a gray heron, ducks, a toad, a caterpillar, and even an eagle’s nest were spotted — a true reminder of how much nature and wildlife thrive right here in our community.
Thank you to everyone who came out and made the evening so enjoyable!
