Join a special guided walking tour of Foster Botanical Garden, an 11 acre tropical garden nestled in the heart of downtown Honolulu. This is the oldest botanical garden in the state.
The tour will be led by Talia Portner, Horticulturist for the City and County of Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation.

This is a free tour, subsidized by AARP Hawai`i. Space is limited to 20 participants.

What to Wear and Bring: Please wear light, cool clothing and close toed shoes for walking. Additionally, please bring a water bottle.
Liability Waiver: Participants will be asked to complete a liability waiver prior to participating in the AARP walk.
Health Recommendation: If you are not currently physically active, we recommend consulting a physician before taking on new physical activities.
About the Tour Guide: Talia Portner is horticulturalist for the Honolulu Botatanical Gardens. Her job is to curate the five municipal gardens (Foster, Ho'omaluhia, Lili'uokalani, Wahiawa and Koko Crater), deciding what plant/trees to put in the gardens and managing the planting, pest and weed control.
