Walk With a Doc: Health Talk and Community Walks

Join free physician-led health talks followed by community walks every Sunday at 8 AM. Walk at your own pace with friends or solo at Queen Liliuokalani Gardens.

How it works: Walkers fill out a one time liability waiver. Medical students from the John A. Burns School of Medicine and resident physicians from the Hawaii Island Family Medicine Residency Program start each walk with a short medical talk. The talk is then followed by up to an hour of walking.

It's a great way to motivate yourself to get more active and learn more about healthy behaviors.  AARP Hawaii is proud to be a collaborative community partner for Walk With a Doc which happens every Sunday at 8 AM. Stop by the AARP table the 3rd Sunday of each month to find out about our local events and pick up snacks and information.
