AARP Virginia honors Black History Month with free Friday tours at Roanoke’s Harrison Museum. Explore art, artifacts, and exhibits in the museum’s new expanded space.
Roanoke's Harrison Museum of African American Culture has a new location with expanded exhibits, and AARP Virginia is honoring Black History Month by offering free guided tours each Friday in February. We invite registrants to come see the new space and experience the history contained in this innovative museum. The indoor walking tour includes art, sculpture, historical artifacts, and video display. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions along the path and gain information about future events and programs offered.
