Health Equipment & Long-Term Planning (HELP) seeks to improve the quality of life and independence for seniors, adults, and teens in eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
Omaha is home to a unique nonprofit called HELP, which stands for Health Equipment & Long-Term Planning. HELP seeks to improve the quality of life and independence for seniors, adults, and teens and serves more than 7,000 people in eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa. Their work involves renovating medical equipment to make it available to those in need, helping them to age in place and remain in their homes. Join us at the May AARP Nebraska Information Center program where Kurt Bush, the Executive Director of HELP, will talk more about the organization’s mission and ways you can support their work.
