Come Walk with a Doc and AARP!
AARP in St. Louis invites you to take a STEP toward better health and join us as we kickoff the 2026 Walk with a Doc season on January 10th, 2026. This AARP volunteer-led group with health content provided by Dr. Jovita Oruwari is a fun and safe place to go for a walk, learn about health, and meet new friends. Walk with a Doc is a series of free monthly group walks that start with a brief health discussion, followed by a volunteer-led walk with our doc or nurse accompanying us.
Participants walk at their own pace, engage in a discussion on the featured health topic while walking, and are encouraged to ask questions during the discussion. Each one-hour walk will start on the back patio of the Forest Park Visitor Center.
**In the event of inclement weather, you will receive an email from AARP St. Louis informing informing you that we will meet at the Galleria Mall. Use the entrance by the Cheesecake Factory. Look for AARP volunteers to greet you. Mall doors open at 9:00 am. If you do not receive an email from us, then we will meet at Forest Park**
