MECA’s Día de Muertos Festival returns Nov. 1–2 with altars, art, music & more—thanks to AARP Houston.
MECA invites you to its 25th Annual Día de Muertos Festival, a free community celebration of Latin American heritage. Sponsored by AARP Houston, this two-day event takes place Nov. 1–2 at the Historic Dow School in Houston’s Old Sixth Ward. Enjoy vibrant altars, artisan vendors, children’s art activities, and live performances. Rooted in pre-Colombian and Catholic traditions, the festival honors loved ones through music, dance, and visual storytelling.
