Howard Washington Thurman (1899–1981) is rightly celebrated as a principal architect of the 20th-century nonviolent civil rights movement and a champion of positive interreligious engagement.
In this webinar, two professors from Hartford International University for Religion and Peace -Cleotha Robertson (director of the university’s Howard Thurman Center) and Lucinda Mosher (director of the Master of Arts in Interreligious Studies program) - will discuss the value of Howard Thurman’s lessons on interfaith understanding and social responsibility for today.
