Celebrate Indigenous voices and traditions at the Indigenous Film & Arts Festival with a free 25 minute planetarium show, Living in Balance: Anishinaabe Star Knowledge. This immersive, full-dome experience shares teachings about the stars, planets, and seasons--guiding principles for living a good life while honoring the lands, waters, animals, and all forms of life. Through stunning artwork by Elizabeth LaPensee and narration by Aarin Dokum, attendees will explore how climate change is reshaping traditional sky stories, such as the Maple Sugar Moon and its link to sap flow.
AARP Colorado proudly sponsors this event to strengthen community connections, promote lifelong brain health, and advance respect for Indigenous knowledge systems. Admission is free, registration is not required. Please use the Main Entrance. Join us for an afternoon of culture, science, and shared stories that enrich lives and foster understanding.
