Free Pickleball Lessons for Beginners

Are you curious about pickleball but not feeling confident about getting out on the court? Pickleball is a fast-growing sport that is low-impact and easy for beginners to learn. 

Get the scoop and join the fun with free beginner pickleball lessons for AARP members and guests. Learn the basics from instructors provided by Pikes Peak Pickleball Association. All equipment will be provided, except for athletic shoes. 

AARP realizes that healthy habits like exercising can not only help you physically but can also give a boost to your brain health too. Plus, it's a great way to stay socially active and meet new people. 

Learn all about the joy of the sport — how to score, tips for playing, ways to win, and more. It’s a fun way to connect with friends, stay fit, and support your brain to help your health and happiness live as long as you do. 

The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., but please plan to check-in at least 15 minutes early.

Space is limited.  Once we reach capacity, a waitlist will be offered. 

Please note this is a free class, but registration is required and entry is first-come, first-served. You must be signed in to your AARP.org account or create an account to register. AARP membership is not required to create an account. 

Please do not opt out of event-related email, as this is how we will communicate with you. Each participant must complete a waiver of liability as part of the registration process prior to participating. 

If you would like to invite a guest to this event, they will need to register themselves directly to agree to the liability waiver.
