You’re invited to join AARP and the U.S. Department of Justice for a special fraud prevention event just for you. Don’t miss this chance to learn from state and federal law enforcement officials about the top fraud trends they’re seeing in and around The Villages and what you can do to learn the signs and protect yourself. Also, fight fraud by bringing your personal documents for shredding, free of charge.

AARP FL is hosting a free shred event on-site to help people fight back against fraud and protect them from identity theft.
There will also be a Shred truck on site from 8-11 a.m - Pre-registration is not required for the Shred event.
Stay one step ahead of identity thieves and get your personal and sensitive documents shredded post-tax-season. Your documents will be shredded on-site, free of charge. There is a limit of 3 small boxes/bags per person. Metal, plastic, and other materials may damage shredders and will not be accepted. Please, no magazines or cardboard.
