AARP Pennsylvania is excited to collaborate with this year’s OpenStreetsPGH! OpenStreetsPGH is a free community event that opens miles of city streets for people to walk, run, bike, and explore spaces that would otherwise be used by motor vehicles. The event temporarily closes streets to car traffic and invites you to walk, run, bike, skate, roll, dance, and enjoy the road with us at your own pace. You can also explore free fitness classes at the event’s wellness hub, teach your children or grandchildren to bike at the kid’s hub, grab food from local vendors, and enjoy a variety of other fun activities. Be sure to look for AARP volunteers who will be on-site sharing resources and fun giveaways. Register to let us know you’re coming – we hope to see you there! This event series is organized by Bike Pittsburgh, a non-profit organization that works on behalf of the Pittsburgh community to transform our streets and communities into vibrant, healthy places by making them safe and accessible for everyone.
