Part 2 of our series will offer tips and resources to help promote a healthy brain.
About the Event
Have you noticed that as your parents age, you need to assume some responsibility for their well-being? Has your spouse been diagnosed with a disease that will require you to aid with daily activities and medical oversight? Do you have a child with special needs? Are you the back-up caregiver for a friend or family member?
If your answer to any of these questions is “yes,” our series of Care for Caregivers workshops is designed to help guide and strengthen you in your role as a caregiver. Session two acknowledges the importance of caregivers’ own brain health and will cover resources and strategies to help you keep your brain healthy as you care for others.
A light dinner at 5:00 p.m. will be followed by a workshop at 6:00 p.m. Respite care for loved ones will be provided during the one-hour workshops.
