About the Event
The virtual “Boost Your Brain and Body” series, presented by Body & Brain Yoga and Health Centers Inc., explores how what’s good for the body is good for the brain in a 45-minute presentation followed by 15 minutes of Q&A.
In recognition of National Balance Awareness Month, this session will focus on simple exercises to improve the strength of your legs, feet, core and spine. Maintaining good balance, a strong lower body and a stable posture is essential to prevent falls as we age. You’ll also learn how to improve your mind-body coordination to enhance your senses and awareness, which will help to improve balance and mobility. Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen.
