About the Event
Are you curious about artificial intelligence (AI) but intimidated by the technical jargon? AARP Wyoming’s six-part series is designed for you! People at all technical levels are welcome.
Our presenters unpack the wonderful and sometimes worrisome world of AI, delving into its potential to improve our lives, from writing stories for the grandkids to revolutionizing trip planning. They’ll also address the downside, including AI’s use in scams and ethical dilemmas that may arise.
Session Three: Echoes of Truth - Unraveling the Reality Behind Deepfakes in the News will explore the growing threat of AI-generated fake media that can be used to spread misinformation. Attendees will learn how to identify deepfakes, understand the implications for older adults, and discuss strategies to combat the spread of this technology.
