Try this Wellness Wednesdays virtual series: “Boost Your Brain and Body”. Find out great ways to how regular exercise and meditation techniques leads to sharper thinking and a healthier brain. Regular physical routines can decrease the effects of stress on the body, improve mental health and mood, and even enhance memory and cognition.
About the Event
Join AARP Long Island and Body & Brain Yoga and Health Centers Inc's virtual workshops and take a proactive step toward a healthier you by registering for the fourth of an eight part, one-hour monthly body and brain health series, which will include a 45 minute presentation followed by a short 15 mins Q & A. What’s good for the body, is good for the brain! Physical activities like walking, yoga, tai chi, meditation etc. can all help you think, learn, problem-solve, and enjoy an emotional balance. It can improve memory and reduce anxiety or depression. Regular physical activity can also reduce your risk of cognitive decline.
