2025 Walk with the Docs: Education Series Stony Brook 9/21/2025
Join us for the Walk with a Doc: Education Series! And Celebrate 20 years of Healthy Walking with Walk With Doc Nationwide! During these walks, our goal is to aim and share practical advice for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and spreads awareness of the things people can do to prevent and improve physical activity that will benefit both your physical and mental well-being!
During these series of free community walks, Physicians will briefly discuss their specialties and the many health benefits of walking before we take a stroll! Attendees will have the opportunity to join the doctor for a walk and engage in conversations along the way.
These Walks will run from June – December and will allow participants to safely walk, learn about current health topics, and meet new people.
At AARP, we believe that healthy walking programs like this, promote socialization, which can lead to stronger relationships, increased connections, and a sense of community, while also providing physical and brain health benefits. You can join one or all – of the twenty-eight Walk with A Docs in Nassau and Suffolk!
